XanGo, the multi-million dollar producers of Mangosteen fruit drink has decided to officially launch a skincare line.

On Nov. 7th, XanGo ties in with their “Xanthone” theme by tying them in to a topical skincare line that includes ingredients from the mangosteen delivered through a proprietary BioActive X3 Complex(TM) that uses toxin-free ingredients and green chemistry technology.

    From XanGo HQ:

“From the moment Joe Morton first discovered the mangosteen in 1997, we always knew the fruit had many beneficial applications,” said XanGo Founder/Board Chairman Aaron Garrity. “

Glimpse fits perfectly within our brand as the next mangosteen category creator, this time through a topical application that represents the best of both health and beauty as well as corporate social responsibility.”

With 1 million distributors now pushing skincare along with their flagship beverage, it would be difficult to imagine how the skin care line wouldn’t be successful.

What is interesting is that this move take XanGo out of the “health juice” category and now puts them in direct competition with Arbonne International, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Melaleuca, and other health and wellness networking businesses that include skincare as a staple of their product line.

Never heard of XanGo or Mangosteen fruit drink. The skin care market must be very lucrative if a fruit drink company is willing to make skin care. I am not willing to give up my Mary Kay cosmetics just yet.

Xango with a skincare line, sounds like they want a piece of the beauty care pie. I think it will be successful along with their healthy juice.

I think this is great! We can never have too many health/beauty aids that are natural and derived from nature rather than chemicals!

I love mangos- my favorite fruit. Where can I try this fruit drink? Will they make suntan lotion? I use a lot of suntan lotion.

I believe that Xango without a doubt will grow within 20 years to become the largest company in the world. This includes even conventional businesses as we know them today. And why because they have the whole package that anyone can participate in. Sharing solutions to so many problems that can have a major impact on the industry and personal lives of so many.

Wow Kevin. That would be quite an accomplishment. They would need to start by cracking the top 100:

    http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/global500/2010/full_list/index.html

Entry to that list is $65,028,000,000 per year in revs. Xango is estimated to have made $350,000,000 in 2008 before the recession:

    http://www.forbes.com/forbes/2008/0225/068.html

So they would need to multiply their current revenue by 185 in order to get into the top 100. If they wanted the top spot, they would need to multiply their current revenue by 1,166 to dethrone the current holder of that position (Wal-Mart)

Time will tell. Big goals are a good thing!
