I agree with Mary as well and thank her for her 'on point' comments to LainLaine. You get out of it, double what ever you put into it, with some effort mind you...but if you put no work in, what do you expect.

I have made checks and I haven't put myself 100% into working my business yet. And that's my fault.

I do believe in the company and their new subsidiary, Zam Zuu, their ecommerce business opportunity alone with YTB Travel.

Thanks Mary for writing this; what you said is so true! You can not get something for nothing. I received my first check from the company last week and I was very excited. You must work in order to see results and if you are willing to be coach-able, you will able to get lifetime benefits.

Most people who fail at YTB fail because they don't understand the truth of the old saying: "you can only get out what you put in!" If you put in hard work you get monetary satisfaction, boo-coo bonuses, lots of free cruises and a benefits package that most people would DIE for if they'd only take the time to hear the facts and work the business.

Having a web-site online is just a scratch on the surface of making the internet work for you as a business venture. Going to training (most people that I personally know who quit went to less than 2 training sessions, never participated in conference call training and absolutely never took any travel certification training), and availing themselves of the built-in training on their web-sites!

If "lainlaine" had just taken the YTB Travel Agent Training and passed the test (difficulty level: 2), a free cruise is your first YTB perk! nAmerica is a "give it to me and give it to me now" society, with very few who are willing to say "SHOW it to me and I'LL GET IT MYSELF!!!" We want the world handed to us on a silver platter, yet countless examples exist to prove that those who happen to GET that silver platter life, don't know and don't bother to find out SPIT about the need for SILVER POLISH!!

YTB is a GREAT business for those who are willing to train, learn and work. The free cruises, the Fam trips, the medical benefits and the contacts that you make are priceless. But for those who go at it with little knowledge of what it takes to make an online business work, its bound to be a weight around the neck!

Without a plan, you plan to fail. And for the most part, that's what's wrong with a whole lot of people who jump into multi-level marketing...no plan...except "I wanna be rich!"

Just lainlaine calling the company a "poor performer" shows her lack of business sense. She (or he) should keep that 9 to 5 until there is a taking on of business sense, and an activation of common sense.

Ytb has misrepresented itself from the beginning. The pennies earned on booking travel is nothing compared to the dollars innocent rep are duped for with the sign up fee and monthly website maintenance fees.

I was hood winked into joining this poor performing company, and would like to know how to get my money back. Can anyone help? Being in YTB has netted me nothing!
