Herbalife International just cemented an agreement with the Mianyang Municipal Education Bureau to participate in developing an emergency relief fund for victims affected by the Sichuan Earthquake that occurred earlier this year.
The earthquake killed and injured thousands of people. Many children in the area had their homes badly damaged or destroyed.
The established fund is christened the Warm Foundation, and is set to help meet the needs of children from 300+ families in Mianyag City affected by the disaster.
Herbalife developed a presence in China in 1998, and is headquartered in Shanghai. They have been very successful in the region, and hope to have a positive impact through the Warm Foundation.

I believe what Herbalife International just did for all of those victims is extremely heart-felt. So many people affected by so many natural disasters could benefit from companies looking to do some real good…. such as herbalife. I’ll be praying for the victims.

My only question is, is the company Herbalife a chinese company? How much do thier workers make?

That is wonderful! More companies should do this and be vocal about it. I know that for a lot of people, if you donate to charities or do something to help a people in need, knowing about these donations and help will make the people flock to that company and support it.

It is encouraging to see companies lending a helping hand to people in need. At least people still care. Although I do wonder why Herbalife Int’l chose this particular region that they have had past success in.

I agree, those poor people who have had this happen to them need our assistance. This is great that someone is doing something positive in this world for others, and not just themselves. Please post more on this topic on how others can help too. Thanks!

I have heard that the herbal international program for victums has been very helpful. Many people have benefitted from this program, this program helped many people get there lives back.

It\’s always refreshing to see a company such as HerbaLife involved
in socially responsible endeavors.
If all companies did this, just think of all the things that could be
accomplished.

How sheltered are we as Americans and in the media’s coverage of what they deem is important that I didn’t even know there was an earthquake in Mianyag? Anyway, it’s great that a company like Herbalife is supporting the victims. My parents are big Herbalife buyers, so I will inform them that they are now supporting a valiant cause

I am glad to see HerbaLife assist the thousands of victims of the Chinese earthquake. It’s refreshing to see Corporations help those in need.

I think this is wonderful. What a great way for a company to help out in an area that has not received as much attention as it probably should have.

I used to buy Herbalife from a neighbor so I know it’s a good product. It’s great to read that they’re also a generous company. Thanks for this good news!
