Woman Jailed For Crazy Biz-Op Value-Driven Business Leadership
Nov 16

Turns out Vemma (creator of Verve energy drink) has upped it’s recruiting efforts as of late, going after glitterati such as David Arquette and Courtney Cox.

The couple hosted an L.A. launch of Propr, a clothing line created by Arquette and Ben Harper.  The clothing line is “all natural” and eco-friendly.

Vemma supplied guests with goodie bags stacked with supplements and product samples.  Stars who received bags included TV & movie actress Jennifer Aniston, model Heidi Klum, and professional surfer Kelly Slater.

While network marketing industry has always attempted to get endorsements from the rich and famous, (Monavie recently got a pat on the back from Viacom age-defying chief Sumner Redstone, ACN has been endorsed by Donal Trump and Robert Kiyosaki), Vemma seems to be particularly aggressive about pursing the relationships with celebrities.  Verve has deals with Slade Smiley, the Milwaukee Admirals, the Phoenix Suns, and others.

I signed up for this program..they are assertive on getting people to join…seem legit. Interesting they are contacting celebrities. Must use a list.

It’s great news to see celebrities jumping onboard and endorsing products they use and are happy to associate their names with. We recently signed Rory (runner up in the 2008 Big Brother reality show in Australia).

Rory saw the long-term opportunity with Verve and actually signed up as a member so we’re very excited to be able to increase the credibility of the Verve brand with a great athletic and celebrity talent in Australia too… many more great partnerships brewing to explode into the scene in 2009.
